19th.c. French Cherry Wood Dresser Base c.1800
Superb early 19th.c. French cherry wood dresser base c.1800. Three plank top with cleated ends and thumb moulded edge. Over two drawers and a two door cupboard base fitted with a single shelf inside. Good decorative front with shaped door panels, a charming carved plant form at the centre, and pierced brass escutcheon plates and oversized brass hinges. Canted and fluted corners, shaped apron to the front and sides and shaped front feet. Thick oak drawer linings and floor boards, chestnut back. Earlier repairs to the feet, otherwise excellent condition and particularly good colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
