6 Chinese Pith Watercolours Beautifully Framed Chinese Watercolour Country House %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a stunning set of 6 original Chinese watercolours of birds on pith paper dating from the second half of the 19th Century. They are bright and vibrant painted by a skilled hand. They are uniformly framed in beautiful polychrome frames of blue and red with gilt roundels in the corners. The frames are later c.1920 all by Rowley of Church Street, London. Each frame is 20cm 13x cm. This set will bring the country house look to any setting.


Condition:
The condition is generally good, though there are a few condition issues. There is some overall toning of all the paintings. One of the paintings has a loss to the bottom left corner. The frame of that same painting is damaged, there is a crack along the top and has caused the corners to become loose. There is some slight woodworm damage to one of the paintings.

We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
