An extremely nice, 9 Carat Solid Gold English Gentleman's Pocket Watch made by Thomas Russell of Liverpool. Full English hallmarks for Chester 1919/20.The inner cuvette bears a nice presentation inscription adding a piece of history to this lovely watch. It was "Presented to W.A.Pickthall. March 24th 1920 by the Barrow Blast Furnace Men......" . The original owner's initials "WAP" nicely engraved on the rear cover
