In untouched condition, standing on adjustable pine legs with white rubber feet (one missing) the suede has no tears or cuts and the top surface has 2 small holes where handles were attached. Fantastic as it is or ready for conversion to a long stool or similar.1170mm wide, 790mm deep and 980mm high. Circa 1930 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
