A Mid 18thc. (c.1765) Duesbury Derby Figure of a Lady. Patch Marks.

A charming figure, wonderfully modelled and painted. In pink bodice and yellow skirt, standing before bocage. Positioned atop a turquoise and gilded mound.

Provenance

From the estate of Rupert Spencer, the well-known Nottinghamshire auctioneer. See label in base.

Condition

Minor losses, including to the surrounding bocage. Possible restoration the headdress-of so, of extremely high quality.
