A Fine Quality Illinois Watch Company pocket watch , in full working condition and keeping time
This famous USA watch maker started in 1870s and finished making in 1924
Known for the quality during this period , This is a very strongly made silver plated metal watch case ,with inner dust cover, gold coloured watch movement working well and stamped with stock date number 454598 dating it to 1924
Top winder with strong loop , all case hinges are fine , white dial with small sweep second hand and blue style hands , dial does have very light hairline marks nothing much , the hands are set by releasing the catch at the side of the dial near to the number two, quite unique
The original quality glass made watch class does have some chipping around the edge but in my opinion not sufficient to change it
Really nice original watch by great maker
