An attractive Victorian freestanding burr walnut writing or centre table. The unusual D-end shaped top with replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The ends with shaped friezes, carved scrolls and turned finials, the centre with a concealed frieze drawer. The whole standing on a stretcher base with twin fluted column supports and carved shaped legs which have sunken brass castors. In fine condition and ready for use. Sizes- Width...50''...127cm.
