A Microscope Slide Collectors Cabinet
A super oak and mahogany microscope slide cabinet. The chest contains 55 drawers each about 8 millimetres internal height. Each drawer has a little ebony knob and ivorine drawer number and plaque that can be written on to say what the drawer contains. Enclosing all the drawers is a glazed lockable door. The cabinet would hold about 2000 slides Circa 1900
