For sale today we have this superb "A Little Child Shall Lead Them" pottery plaque by the Compton Potters' Art Guild. A gorgeous piece of Arts & Crafts pottery to a design by Mary Seton Watts. Features Jesus as a child with a gilt halo and carrying a crook, leading a herd of lambs, set among Voyseyesque trees. Measures 7" x 4 1/2". Bears an impressed Compton stamp to the rear along with it's original hanging hook.
Excellent condition, just minor nicks to the outer corners and some wear to the tempera glaze. We are experienced dealers in mid to high end ceramics, metalware and other items.
