With traditional knee-hole and 9 drawers one side and on the other 12 drawers all with original locks, escheons and handles, the ends and knee-hole are panneled. The top is banded in figured oak with replaced inset leather writing surface. 1740 mm wide, 1070 mm deep, 800 mm high and the knee-hole is 610 mm wide and 620 mm high. Circa 1860 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
