A William IV Rosewood writing table. Raised on end supports with scroll feet. The frieze has two drawers with dummies verso and the banded top has a vellum green inset leather writing surface. In very good condition and retaining original brass embellishments, moldings and handles. 730mm high, 1220mm wide and 650mm deep. English. Circa 1835. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
