Artist - Alfred James Corfield (1904-)
Title - Untitled
Details - Attractive watercolour featuring a church set in a rural landscape. Signed and dated (1951) in pencil in one bottom corner. on the front along the bottom. Mounted and framed in a vintage wooden glazed frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition with good colours. The painting is stuck to a backboard and the mount is stuck down. The paper has some discolouration, grubbiness and there are a few grubby marks to the painting. The mount is water damaged and stained at the top. The frame has some scuffing, grubbiness and wear.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Visible Image Size - 37cm by 27.5cm
Frame - 52cm by 43cm, 1.5cm deep. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
