An antique Zenith pocket watch, chain and box

An antique Zenith pocket watch, chain and box.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, with cam disc regulator, which is working well. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 2,110,899 which dates it back to 1916. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has details of the movement together with images of medals won at the Paris 1900 trade exhibition.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the case backs together with the Zenith mark. There is a rose gold wash to parts of the case, a very popular combination in the Scandinavian countries at the beginning of the 20th Century. The case is in lovely condition just a small indentation to the cartouche on the back of the watch. The engine turned detail is still nice and crisp.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Zenith and it also has the name of the original retailer Wallberg Hudiksvall, a high class retailer who retailed superior watches such as Zenith and IWC. The dial is in beautiful condition with charming ornate hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with a double albert and swivel fob, with each chain measuring 23cm long including the clasp and the T-bar.
The watch and chain come with a vintage presentation box.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country.

Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the \'Buy Securely\' button on each listing page.
