This is a most attractive oil painting on canvas by artist RS Mayer (fluent 1911- 1930) depicting a young calf in a beautiful orchard under a fruit tree with blossom, with chickens wandering in the pasture.
The signed picture measures 32cms by 26cms (including frame) and is in a good quality gilded frame which suits it well. The picture frame has been re-backed fairly recently and is in excellent condition.
