664-525BC, An ancient Egyptian funerary statuette with a mummy shaped body and back pillar standing on a small base plate. Modelled details, wearing a tripartite wig with visible ears, attached beard. Arms crossed in front of the chest, holding an agricultural implement in each hand and seed basket on its back. A vertical column of framed hieroglyphs engraved on the front. Size - length 110mm - width 30mm.
Overall good condition. The Shabti needs support to stand.
Provenance - Private London collection ex. B. Kickx and J. Peeters collections, pre 1978, Belgium.
