Antique Elephant Vesta Case And Chain
Antique elephant vesta case and chain.
The vesta is plated, probably silver plate. It measures 7cm high from the top of the elephant to the tip of the tusk. The side of the vesta has the initials RE scratched into it. There is some wear in places.
The vesta comes with a nickel watch chain, 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The T-bar states that the piece is ‘Empire Silver’ and it has the maker’s initials for the Birmingham silversmith William Holmes.
