Antique George III Inlaid Mahogany Chest-On-Chest


A good late George III mahogany bowfront chest-on-chest dating to c.1800. With a dentil cornice, satinwood inlaid frieze and reeded edges with satinwood inlay to the bases it comprises two short above six long graduated oak lined drawers. With brass handles and locks and standing on shaped bracket feet.
Joints all solid, some losses to drawer beadings, some veneer loss to the sides on the edges and at base of top, drying lines and repairs to front above locks. Unfortunately we do not have a key.
