Antique Late 17th Century Oak Coffer Box and dating from around the time of the Restoration Period of James 11. It has a three panelled top with moulded edge above two fielded panels to the front and stands on original unshortened stile feet with panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back. It is hand & peg joined. It has later brass escutcheon and hinges.
