Outstanding 18thC Welsh Oak Cardiganshire Coffer
An exceptional early 18thC Welsh oak Coffer of outstanding colour and quality - Cardiganshire c1720. Of rare and highly desirable medium size featuring beautifully simple cushion moulded fielded panels and incredible grained oak throughout and the most breathtaking colour and patina imaginable. Strong and sturdy and original throughout with only a small number of historic worm holes to mention.
Oak coffers do not come any better. Provenance - The Pat Llewelyn Collection.
Length 3ft 10” = 116cm. Height 32.5” = 83cm. Depth 20” = 51cm
