This antique mahogany tray top butlers stand is very old & I think it dates from the 1790’s period. Like most of these examples it’s hard to work out whether the top & the fold up legs started off together, but they do look right together. All four sides of the tray top can be folded down & they all clip together. There are some wear marks on the top surface, but I believe it’s in keeping with the general character.
