An unusual 19th century Money Box in the form of a miniature chest of drawers. Made from mahogany, with an inset brass money slot to the top. The coins fall into the bottom drawer. The top drawers are shallow, to allow the coins to fall into the lower locked drawer. The feet and handles have been replaced. Circa 1870
