Antique Oak Dresser Base
Superb quality Georgian Oak Cab leg Dresser Base with mahogany crossbanding to the top & 3 drawers.
The dresser features unusual & decorative carving to the fron underside. In 40 years of dealing we have never seen decorative carvings such as these on a country dresser.Top quality Oak has been used in the construction & the original rich colour has been retained. The handles are old & the correct style but there is evidence of Victorian bun handles.
The dark marks to the top left-hand corner are within the timber & are part of the character of the piece.
One toe has been repaired.
The Dresser base is available for viewing in our room at Knutsford Antique Center, 113 King St, WA16 6EH
