This is a delightful antique original painting on silk in its original frame dating from around 1860. The attractive painting has lovely strong colours depicting a pheasant at the rivers edge preparing to drink. This is framed in a nice satin birch frame with good colour and mounted in a gilt slip. The frame measures 23 cms by 20 cms overall.
