Lovely Pair of Victorian Oak Armchairs in the 17th Century Style of William & Mary. Dating from around 1880 and constructed from solid oak they have a beautifully carved top rail above a bergere ( split cane) back panel with turned side supports and with downswept and scrolled armrests on turned supports above a bergere seat and they stand on turned and block legs joined by a carved frieze to the front with turned stretchers.

Each chair Measures 54" high x seat height 18" x 24" deep x 23" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and they ooze all the charm and character of the Period.
