A good quality, Antique, Victorian, Solid Silver Fob Pocket Watch dating from c1890.
The Swiss made, 3/4 plate movement is in very good, clean condition and excellent working order. It is key wound and set by the key provided.
The decorative enamel dial is in good condition but does have a minor hairline. It has the hours in Roman numerals with gold decoration to the outer chapter and centre.
The solid silver case is in excellent condition. It has decorative engraving to the rear. It is hallmarked with "0.935" alongside Swiss Control marks for 0.935 standard silver. slightly higher grade than English sterling (0.925).
A lovely example of a Victorian Fob Pocket Watch.
The watch measures 41 mm in diameter.
