Carved Teak - Stunning Design - c1890
This stunning carved table, stool or stand shows tremendous style and is presented in solid teak.

A wonderful base, featuring elephant heads with turned trunk form legs, sweeps into the spectacular upper which provides inlaid bone embellishment surrounding a central relief carved cartouche.

Further interest is delivered with the cross stretcher forming an under-tier benefiting from an engraved incense dish in solid brass.

The whole displays desirable finish and is in very good antique order throughout and stands robustly.

Overall a very pleasing example, both attractively styled and well presented. A quirky and interesting addition to any setting and rare in this style, quality and original condition.
