Antique quality Victorian 19th Century figured walnut davenport desk or writing table.
This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character. Early patinated leather top and quality maple lined interior.
Solid, heavy and with no loose joints.
No woodworm.
The mahogany lined drawers on the right hand side slide freely (those on the left are dummies). Two small internal active drawers and two dummies.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 57cmW x 56cmD x 84cmH.
Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear and imperfections, as is to be expected with antique furniture. No key and the locks are untested. Some historic shrinkage cracking, but all is stable and strong. One of the side lifting handles has been replaced (probably best to not try and lift the piece with these).
