This antique Victorian mahogany desk is good quality & dates to around the 1860-80 period. It's in lovely original condition & comes apart into three sections. It has a tooled leather writing surface, which is old & perfect, which we just had polished. The pedestals have finely dovetailed graduated drawers, with locks & turned wooden handles. The drawer fronts also have beading around the edges. This desk has a polished back & sits on plinth bases that have casters underneath. These original Victorian desks of this quality & in this condition are becoming quite rare & they are very good value for money. This desk also a good medium size & has a generous kneehole space.
