Antique Waltham Seaside pocket watch
Antique Waltham Seaside pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Seaside grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 10,287,029 which dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a hint of unevenness and some surface scratching.
The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop so smaller than a standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is gold filled and the hinged case back is beautifully detailed. The case is in lovely detail, just a small mark to the bezel but not too detrimental at all. The back cover opens further than normal but is nice and secure.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in good condition, just a short scratch between 6 and 7 but not too detrimental at all.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
