Arts & Crafts Oak Hall Serving Table by Shoolbred


A large and rare Arts & Crafts golden oak serving side table by James Shoolbred & Co. The moulded top with rounded corners and a galleried back above two frieze drawers and arched apron uniting square tapering legs with ogee moulded block feet. With original Art Nouveau embossed copper handles, brass escutcheons and original locks to each drawer. Stamped ‘JAS SHOOLBRED & CO’ twice and numbered ‘123181’, the reverse of the handles also marked with registered number.
In solid condition with a good golden honey oak colour and traditional hand polished and waxed finish. Could be used as a hall or console table, as well as a serving table in the dining room.

Depth - 20in (51cm)
Height overall - 40 1/2in (103cm)
Surface height - 36 3/4in (93.5cm)
