A beautiful Glasgow Style Antique Arts & Crafts silvered planished copper mantel antique clock with original & working French 8-day movement likely to have been retailed through Liberty & Co, c1900.

Of typical ‘A’ frame riveted construction, the casing features a beautiful stylised Glasgow style Charles Rennie Mackintosh rose with entrelac Celtic plant form. The architectural over hanging domed 'roof' of the clock case epitomises the Liberty & Co Arts and Crafts style.

The movement keeps accurate time and has been professionally overhauled and cleaned by a leading antique clock restorer to ensure many years of future use.
