Attractive Edwardian Pink Upholstered Armchair
An attractive antique armchair. We date this chair to the early 20th century.
The chair sits on downward tapered square section legs at the front and square section legs at the rear all with original ceramic castors.
The chair has a rounded well padded backrest with padded scroll arms. The chair is upholstered in a pale pink velour material with a corded detail.
The chair is very comfortable to sit on, while the backrest provides excellent support for the back.
The chair has an overall height of 38.5" (98cm), an overall width of 31" (79cm), an overall depth of 33" (84cm), a backrest height of 24" (61cm), a seat height of 15" (39cm), a seat width of 18.5" (47cm) and a seat depth of 22.5" (57cm).
The chair is in good condition with only surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including marks and stains to fabric. The frame is very slightly loose.
This remains a very stylish and elegant antique armchair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
