A wonderful woodblock of the River Tees and bridge at Barnard Castle by Urushibara. The image is after a similar work by Sir Frank Brangwyn who worked with and was a personal friend of Urushibara. It is a rare image and is featured on the Catalogue Raisonne of Urushibara's work issued three years ago by Hilary Chapman.It is signed, in pencil, by both Urushibara and Brangwyn.
