Brass Bound Camphor wood Trunk
Circa 1900, neat sized, brass bound camphorwood trunk. With a central brass name plate and quarter brackets on each corner with 2 sturdy swan neck lifting handles to the sides and strapping throughout. The hinged lid opens to reveal an un-interrupted interior and the remnants of a maker’s label. A large heraldic shaped (working) escutcheon holds the unusual patent shaped key and it has further brass banded towards the base.
