Here we have a fine quality Regency Mahogany desk top display cabinet c1820. As you can see the cabinet has super colour and patina. Before you ask this has never been a longcase clock hood. It has been made as a cabinet from the start. There is a beautifully executed pediment to the top with a swan neck, two roundels and a concave spandrel. The sides of the top are equally impressive with cylindrical almost bobbin turned gadrooned mouldings. The front of the cabinet is crossbanded with a thumb moulded internal edge and curved corners. The base is finished with a reeded strip moulding and turned incised bun feet. There is an original working lock and key. Internally there are three adjustable shelves. The door has exquisite original glass with beautiful inclusions. A fine and rare cabinet in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 27 inches high 19 wide and 9 deep.
