Here we have a stunning Victorian inlaid Rosewood chest of drawers c1870. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. There is a beautiful Rosewood top with inlaid patera to the corners joined by an inlaid string. There is a moulded edge to the top and an arrangement of seven drawers below with a central small secretaire. The drawers again are finished in Rosewood have intricate inlaid detail with swags, urns and Patera corners. Although not stamped this is almost certainly the work of Edwards and Roberts. The drawers are all solid Mahogany lined with internal dust beads and hand cut dovetail joints. The drawers also retain their original brass handles of very fine quality. The chest is a fine example of a cabinet makers hand and in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 120 cm high 122 cm wide 51 cm deep.
