Chinese Gilded and Black Lacquered Desk
Circa 1900, Chinese Qing dynasty gilded and black lacquered kneehole writing desk. The rectangular top with various painted motifs, continuing to the faux drawers to the back and a similar configuration of painted (real) drawers to the front. With pierced and gilded quarter brackets, on square legs with painted facings and simple shaped feet.
