This is a beautiful continental pale pine dresser and top. The dresser dates to around 1910. The dresser is paler pine with opaque glass doors at the top. It is in really good and usable condition. The top has a beautiful arched cornice with three doors under. These have figured opaque glass, quartered beading and a central motif. The doors all have metal escutcheons and open with a key onto a single cupboard with central shelf. The top forms a hutch shape over the base so you have a full working surface. It is supported by solid back and sides with decorative arched brackets at the front and has a narrow shelf at half height which runs along the back. The base has a good flat top with two drawers under and two doors under those. The drawers are a good size and slide as they should. The cupboard doors are a single panel with wooden knob, the right door has an escutcheon and working key. The doors open onto a single cupboard with center shelf. The base stands on round bun feet. In addition the base has a pull out bread board at the center front. This is a great feature.

The whole dresser stands well and looks really lovely. The dresser separates into 2 pieces for moving, it stands steady and level with no wobbles. The door and drawers all work as they should and they stay closed as required. The bread board moves smoothly.
