We are offering for sale this very well executed 19th Century Continental oil painting of a clump of wild flowers in a natural setting, with the addition of a snail in the foregtround. There are some poppies, marguerites, dandelions and grasses, and at the very top of the cluster, a dandelion 'clock', which has been executed by the artist beautifully. Sadly, we can find no signature on the painting, so are unable to give any information about the artist.

The painting is framed in a 3 1/4" pale gilt frame and mottled slip. It will be supplied with new brass fittings, new brass picture wire and will be ready to hang.

Frame size: 24 1/4" x 20 5/8" - 61.55cm x 52.4cm

Medium: Oils on canvas

Condition: Very good. The canvas has been professionally relined and there is no damage, paint loss or craquelure. The frame is in very good condition.
