Early steel Indo Persian fighting axe
A large heavy all steel Indian fighting axe Tabar .This would date from the early 19 century it has a large heavy crescent head worked with lions and a horseman a thick shaft and is well balanced an impressive looking weapon that has seen some life dark age patina uncleaned apart from a wipe with a oily rag .
