Edward Mann moonphase longcase
An exceptionally fine painted dial 8 day longcase clock by Edward Mann of Coventry. The conventional anchor escapement movement striking the hours on a bell. The very pretty, early 12” break-arch dial with moonphase, seconds, calendar and gilded gesso corner decoration. Beautiful mahogany break-arched case with well figured long door and book matched surrounding veneers to the trunk and base.
