Edwardian Chinoiserie Sutherland Table

Beautiful little Chinoiserie style Sutherland or drop leaf table c.1910. Stunning paint and lacquer work in relief, to the top. Having oriental scenes in gold and coloured enamels against a reddish brown background. The oval top has shaped edge with moulded detail and gilt border. Sits on slim tapering and shaped legs, with ceramic caster to each leaf leg, for ease of movement . More gilt decoration to the stretcher shelf and to each side panel.

A couple of small areas of damage to the middle panel of the top, one scuff mark and a little movement o the veneer near by. Otherwise excellent
