Edwardian Mahogany & Inlaid Kidney Desk
A superior quality Edwardian Sheraton Revival kneehole desk of kidney shape form, in beautifully figured 'fiddle back' mahogany and of particularly elegant proportions, featuring ebony and boxwood line inlay and satinwood banding, an arrangement of four graduated mahogany lined drawers to either side flanking a central drawer, all with chased brass handles, and raised on short square tapering legs terminating in brass plate castors with brown china wheels. The top has a hand-stained inset leather scriber, in genuine cow hide.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been re-finished and the leather scriber replaced, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There is a small old repair to the bottom moulding to the rear, and some extremely minor old marks underneath the polish in our opinion, the photographs are representative.
