Large work by this English landscape painter who was active turn of the last century, late 19th early 20th.

Really well executed romantic work showing presumably a shepherds wife preparing a meal for the shepherd. Very picturesque and reminiscent of the era. Probably set in England's Lake District.

Signed lower right. In original gilt wood frame.
