A Fine George III oak and mahogany crossbanded 8 Day longcase clock made by Hartshorn of Broseley(Shropshire).c.1775.Painted dial with rolling moon to the top arch.Date aperture and seconds count.Unusual in Arabric numberals for the period.Sheraton fruitwood inlays throughout the case.Reeded pillars to the shaped door case repeated to the swan neck pediment top.Fully overhauled.Strikes on a bell to the hour.Stands 87"high.Superb colour and condition.
