An accomplished painting from William J King depicting a Stormy Shoreline. The artist is well known for his Oil Paintings of Wales and the West Country of England. His works rarely come on the market, Christies sold one in 2009 and Philips in 2001. Very little is known about William King, he was born circa1828 and his date of death is not known.
