F.O'Beirne Watercolour 1899 7th Dragoon Guards

We are offering for sale this beautifully executed watercolour by the artist F. O'Beirne, who we presume is Irish, and who has signed the painting to the lower right hand corner and dated it 1899. The painting depicts a member of the 7th Dragoon Guards seated on his horse.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to discover any biographical information about this artist, save that he specialised in military subjects. In 2011, there was an Exhibition of Postcards of the Brigade of Guards at the Guards Museum in London, which included a series of cards featuring uniforms designed by F. O'Beirne for Blum & Degan.
There are a couple of images of military subjects by this artist on google images.
The painting is framed with washlines and is framed in a 1 1/8" gilt frame. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
Image size 7" x 5" - 17.75cm x 12.2cm
Frame size 14 7/8" x 13" 35.25cm x 33cm
Medium Watercolours
Condition Very good condition. Colours bright and true. There is one small mark to the lower left of the grass, which is mentioned for accuracy. The mount and frame are in very good condition.
