Antique 18th Century and later French deed box, c1750. The box stands on bun feet, and has lovely colour/patina and great brass fittings.

It is in good condition for its age, but has had a number of historic repairs, including replacing/moving the hinges. The lid is slightly bowed and there is minor surface wear.
