The top decorated with a Neo-Classical urn amidst S scrolls
A serpentine apron below houses a single frieze drawer
Raised on slender cabriole legs.
The table has a great look which is very much 'in vogue'
This table having the advantage of being 'the genuine article' as opposed to being later painted.
The finish is clean and smooth being fully waxed
It display old grime & ingrained signs of wear & tear
There is the odd historic repair etc
There is small signs of historic infestation
now fully treated for reassurance.
The table will undoubtedly stand well in many a room from the sitting room to bathroom.
The table has good provenance having been the property of the late Lord Ballyedmond, OBE, FRCVS (Edward Enda Haughey)
He was an Irish-British entrepreneur and politician.
With an estimated personal wealth of €780 million, he was the second-richest person in Northern Ireland.
The table was part of the estate of 'The French House' Belgravia London.
