This is an attractive and good quality antique George III style mahogany leather pedestal desk.

This is an attractive and good quality antique mahogany leather pedestal desk, circa 1950 - 1970 styled in the period of the George III era. The desk features a three panel brown and gold leather tooled insert on the top, rectangular pedestals, dove tailed drawer construction, swan neck handles, decorated external panels terminating in Georgian style bracket feet. The desk features a working key to the top central drawers. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The pedestals, frame and drawer bottoms and sides are constructed of engineered timber with a fantastic mahogany veneer patination. The drawer linings are mahogany. The desk dismantles into three sections (top and two pedestals) for easy transportation.
This desk would compliment any home office. This item base would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Condition Report
In good condition which is commensurate with age. The leather is in good condition. There is some minor ware to the leather (see photos) and this only adds to the character of the desk. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the wooden desk but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are some small marks and stickers inside the drawers but nothing significant. The desk has a working key which operates the central top drawer only. The drawers below do not feature locks. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is not required to cover the cost of returning the item if the item is returned at the point of delivery. If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (which is the same cost as the delivery fee). We collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We do not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
